I am not asking for an exact dollar amount, but just a ballpark figure. If you wanted to open a car wash with 7 “self service” bays and with 1 automatic car washer, around about how much would that cost?

Question by RichGar: How do I start my own auto detail business on a military base?
I would like to start my own auto detail business on the Army base we are stationed at. Does anyone know who I would contact regarding licenses or permits and perhaps renting a space to operate on base. We are stationed at Ft Bragg.
Just thought I would mention I am not in the military and have not seen these services offered here as I have on other installations.

Discuss your plans with the Base Command Officer, who may refer you to the Defense Department or the Business Relations Liaison. I can’t see this as viable, given the nature of military service.

I am in a young entrepeneurs class and my teachers and backers are very excited about the idea. The research tells me that I could make a large profit if I make the proper connections. If there are any truck drivers out there that have some input I would be glad to hear it. The services I will offer will be wash wax polish and interior detailing. All people like to live and work in a clean enviroment but not all people pick up after themselves or take care of there stuff. and there are some that do take care of there trucks and just want that new vehical smell and look back.

I want to start my own car wash abroad.

The problem is i don’t have accesses to a lot of water is there any way i can wash the cars with out using that much water any ideas would help thanks.

I live in the states and i travel back and forth to my country.

Most car washes here in the States recycle their water, so you basically get the dirty water from the car in front of yours. That would be the best way. Also use a pressure washer , they use much less water. Personally I hand wash all of my clients cars with fresh water or for 0 I’ll do a Perrier Wash!
